Still Transitioning..

My natural hair journey started off with me excitedly twisting out my hair twice a week.
Each day, I spent about 3 hours voraciously consuming content about natural hair. My hair goes through periods of awesomeness and then dips into times of wackiness. I never quite know from day to day what it is going to look like.

Blurry, Yet Etheral

This picture was taken a month or so ago. The daylight flooded into my bedroom and made taking a clear "selfie" impossible.

Still, I love the way the light floods into the photograph. It highlights my skin tone and softens  my twist out gone wrong hairstyle.

If only, this intense light could go with me on all of my travels.
