Have I mentioned that I love being 40?
They say that 40 is the new 30 but, for me it is a whole new frontier.
The year I turned 30 was filled with loss, disillusionment, and a myriad of other external struggles.
I lost a whole network of college friends and I was struggling to start over from a financial disastrous end of my 20's.
This year, I experienced loss and a dash of disillusionment but, I viewed it in a different manner than before. I see loss as an opportunity to step/wobble into a new season of life.
