It's not perfect but, it's right. Right in the sense that there is no Ex in the background waiting to step back into the picture full-time. You aren't constantly being reminded how your gentle love is no match for her psychodrama. There are no inexplicable midnight phone calls to his cell phone. His friends do not give you sympathetic glances whenever they think that you aren't looking.
He's not constantly trying to convince you to look the other way on his dalliances and inappropriate behavior. You know that it's a true partnership and not just a cover story to make an Ex jealous or to please his parents.
Ladies, chances are this man is closer than you think. He's patiently waiting for you to embrace a healthier relationship.
Every soul has to fulfill at least one contract within their lifetime. In fact, some souls are assigned to fulfill multiple contracts through out their lifetimes. These soul contracts are constantly being monitored by a review committee. Today, I am going to be chatting with a soul contract informer by the name of Vera. I am not some random chick and yet my current relationship states otherwise. Our long range plans are hazy at best. I mean, he makes them and yet a part of me does not really believe that they will come to fruition. See, there are other people smack dab in the middle of our relationship. Their needs come WAY before mine. At first, I tried to be understanding. Past a certain age, people bring exes, children, and other random things with them into relationships. But, it feels like he is taking advantage of my patience.
Is there really a need to have an ex with whom you have no children on your car insurance policy?
Why are you inviting her family over for a barbecue at our place?
These are questions that I ask to myself and out aloud to him.
He just upset and accuses me of being overly dramatic.
The truth is clear to me. I am the loose end in his life. The random love interest whom just happened to be around when he was ready to settle down.
